Trump reportedly approves new objectives in Syria, keeping military presence indefinitely
The United States will remain in Syria indefinitely as President Donald Trump has reportedly agreed to new objectives that will keep American troops on the ground to ensure Iranian forces are driven out of the country, as well as the “enduring defeat” of the Islamic State.
